Remember the very first car that you owned that you were in love with?
No, not the beater that your parents sent you off to college with. The one that you saved and skipped meals to afford. The one that you washed EVERY single week and always turn around to take a look at as you walked away.
I go to car shows weekly where car guys sit around and say "I wish I had kept that car or you should have seen it, it was beautiful". Maybe you still have a faded picture or two of the car.
The unfortunate reality is that for car guys there's always another car and today's car, as much as we love it, will be gone and just a memory in time.
We create videos that tell the story of your car that you can look back upon and revisit periodically. That special feeling that you get when you look back at movies of your children will happen when you look back at your car.
In our videos I tell the real story of your car. A living history told at the time when the information is fresh in your mind. The video tells how you felt about the car, how you came to own it, the repairs that you made to it, and the pride that you feel about owning it.
These videos are a great way to reminisce or share with your friends to tell them all about the car.
Memory Box videos usually take a half to three quarters of a day to shoot. I like to begin early to get favorable light and then continue shooting until mid afternoon.
I will take a number of video segments that showcase your car from the exterior and then take some 'Go Pro' video of you driving your car. I also will take "rollers" which is video of your car driving down the road shot from another car moving along with it. We'll also record an interview with you talking about how you acquired the car, any modifications that you've made to it, what's special about THIS car, and why you selected this particular car to own.
During the filming of your video we will probably visit at least two or more locations. I'll develop which locations work best in consultation with you.
Once the video has been shot it will take me approximately one week to produce the video that you'll receive. From end-to-end it takes me 24 - 30 hours of effort to create the video.
The final video will be 15 - 20 minutes long.
The video will be placed on YouTube and available for you or anyone that you share the link to your video with.
