Over the past 10 years I've photographed almost every style of image possible. As many do, over a period of time I found myself restricting the assignments that I accept to the things that interest me the most. Sometimes that process comes at you in odd ways.
Towards the tail end of 2016 I found myself driving by a horse rescue foundation (www.eraf.org) located in Palm City, Florida and decided to stop in and see if I could be of help to them.
The chemistry was almost instantaneous. I found the people genuinely nice, the foundation's work noble, and the horses magnificent. I'd encourage anyone that loves horses or anyone that learns how much some of these animals can suffer to become involved with the foundation. You will be a better person for having done it.
P.S. Don't forget those ERAF horses!
